American Camellia Yearbook, 1957, p.297, Reg. No.289: A 6 year old chance seedling, originated by Mrs Ernest F. Wahl, Thomasville, Georgia, USA. Bloomed for the first time in 1953. Leaves are similar to those of Debutante. The blush pink flowers are incomplete double with mixed petaloids similar to Nobilissima. The flower has 8-10 broad, outer petals and a large cluster of 160-175 tall petaloids with white stamens interspersed and is 10-10.5 cm across and 5.5 cm deep. Flowering season, early to mid-season. Sport: Ann Wahl Variegated.
