» English Description
SCCS, 1960, Camellia Nomenclature, p.28: Bright pink, shading to white in centre. Medium, peony form to rose form double with many slender petaloids. Medium, open, upright growth. Blooms early to late. Blooms tend to be rose form double in climates such as England where it received an RHS, "Award of Merit" in 1981. Originated by W. Wylam, California, USA. This cultivar was awarded as an AGM (Award of Garden Merit) plant by the Royal Horticultural Society in 2002 at H5 rate (hardy: cold winter; -15°C to -10°C).
