April Lynn Poe

American Camellia Yearbook, 1972, p.125, Reg. No.1168: A 10 year old chance seedling japonica, first bloomed 1965; originated by W. Lee Poe, Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Plant growth is upright and rapid with dark green leaves measuring 10-12.5 cm long by 7 cm broad. The, Frizzle White type, bloom is peach pink with golden anthers and creamy filaments and is 12.5 cm across by 5 cm deep. Blooms mid-season.
