Asagao (Higo)

Late flowering. Leaves, elliptic to broad-elliptic, large, shallowly serrate, with some yellow markings. Vigor­ous, spreading habit. See, p.119, Yokoyama & Kirino, 1989, Nihon no Chinka. Originated in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Similar to ‘Bifu’.
