ACS, The Camellia Journal, Sept. 2005, p.28 with colour photo p.29, Reg. No. 2648. A chance seedling that first flowered 1980. Originated by Archie Beattie, Bishopville, S.C., USA, and propagated by the Lee County Historical Society, Bishopville. The 9 cm bi-colour pink semi-double flower has heavy textured and notched petals. Vigorous growth and flowers freely late season. Photo shows a pink edged flower shading to white at the centre. American Camellia Yearbook, 2005, p.40 and colour photo p.c3. Dark green leaves are 11.5 cm x 5 cm.
