Chiyoda-fukurin

Seibundō, Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, p.98, colour photo, p.231, description: A soft pink, campanulate single with the colour softening to white at petal edge and with large, red streaks. A central column of stamens slightly pinched in at the top. Leaves, elliptic, apex blunt, flat surface. Originated in Chūbu, Japan as a sport of Chiyoda-nishiki. Named and released by Minoru Satō in 1977. Note: “Chiyoda” is a place name in Kyōto which includes the Royal Palace.

Chiyoda-fukurin     千代田覆轮(Bordered'Chiyoda‘)   （C. japonica)   红山茶。1977，日本爱知县，佐藤稔命名发表。Chiyoda-nishiki (千代田锦）的枝变种。单瓣、粉红底、浓红色纵纹、白色覆轮、中轮(9〜10x3.5〜4cm)、花期1〜3月、树性直立、长势强。
