» English Description
Feng Guomei, 1989, Chuxiong Camellia Catalogue, with colour illustration. Light red, rose form double with 5-6 rows of rounded petals and a centre of small irregular petals. Medium size, 11-12 cm across. Blooms mid-season. Originated in Chuxiong, Yunnan, China.
This cultivar is originated in Chuxiong, Yunnan, China. Flowers peach red, rose form double, very large 14-16 cm in diameter. Petals 18-24 in 5-6 rows, the outer petals flat, the inner petals curved with waved margin. Stamens petaloided, only few left in the center. Pistils undeveloped, infertile. Flower moderate abundance. Leaves elliptic to ovate, 8-10 cm long by 3.5-4.5 cm wide, apices acuminate to caudate, bases cuneate, margins sinuate. Plant open habit . The flowering season is from late December to early February. This is a very good cultivar derived from Chuxiong.

性状描述:花桃红色,完全重瓣型,巨型花,花径14~16cm,花瓣18~24枚,宽圆形,5~6轮排列,外轮花瓣平,内轮花瓣内曲,边缘波状,雄蕊多数变成花瓣,仅残留少数于花心,雌蕊退化,不结实,花量中等。叶椭圆形至卵圆形,长8~10cm,宽3.5~4.5cm,先端渐尖至尾尖,基部楔形,边缘波状;植株开张,生长中等。花期:12月下旬至翌年2月上旬。
识别点:本品种花色桃红,完全重瓣型,内轮花瓣内曲,边缘波状,叶片较小,椭圆状卵圆形。
