Clara Gil de Seabra. (C.japonica), ICS Journal, 2003, p.100 with colour photo, Reg. No.42: An open pollinated seedling originated by Clara Gil de Seabra, current ICS Director for Portugal, of Porto, Portugal. First flowered in 1996 at circa 8 years. The plant forms a bushy shrub of rapid growth rate. Blooms mid-season. Magenta aging to purple, a semi-double 10 cm across x 6 cm deep. Petals slightly undulated.
