ACS Registration #3006. The Camellia Journal,71(3):29 with name and color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2016, p. 135 with color photo and description. This 12-year-old C. reticulata seedling of ‘Susan Whithers’ first bloomed in 2009. It was originated, registered and propagated by Walter Creighton of Semmes, Alabama, USA. Bloom: The very large sized 13.3cm x 6.3cm (treated 15.2cm x 7.6cm) semi-double form flower is pink with heavy white frosting. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. The blooms have consistent form, are long lasting and fall in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for exhibition use. Leaf: The dark green leaves have medium serration and average 10.1cm x 5.1cm. Bloom season: Late.
