DAN's Emily. (C. hiemalis). C. Aust, Camellia News, No. 183, Winter 2010, p.9 with colour photo; Regn No.628N. A chance seedling of Rose Ann (Matthews), first flowered 1983. Fast, upright, dense, bushy growth. Large, obovate leaves, flowers mid to late sasanqua season. Fragrant, medium size, single, rose pink (RHS.CC.66C) blooms with large, rounded, creped and crinkled petals, slightly paler at the centre. Occasional petaloid, and flared column of pale yellow stamens. Originated by Kurt Boesen, Dancraft Nurseries, Wilberforce, NSW, Aust.
