Dr. Alfred Aguero. (C. japonica). Registered in 2019. ACS Registration #3154. This 19-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Marie Bracey' first bloomed in 2004. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia. Bloom: The large sized 10.8 cm x 5.1 cm semi-double form flower is deep rose with lavender overtones. It has yellow anthers and pink and cream filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting, heavy petal texture, a consistent form and falls in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration and average 8.3 cm x 5.7 cm. Bloom season: Early to midseason.
