Flora Stout (C. sasanqua) ACS, Reg. No.2365. American Camellia Yearbook, 1996, p3. with color photo in color inset 4. A medium, rose pink veined lighter, semidouble C. sasanqua chance seedling, early. Originated by William C. Stout, Pensacola, FL. The IS-year old seedling first bloomed in 1985. Average size flower is 3 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" deep with 14 petals, 10+ petaloid, yellow anthers and white filaments. Blooms have a musky fragrance. Plant growth is spreading, dense and average with dark green leaves measuring 2' long and 3/4' wide.
