Forty-Niner 49人队，云南茶杂交种 。 1971，美国加州 Escondido，Howard Asper 。 Butterfly Wings (厚叶蝶翅）x Indian Summer 。初花1962年。牡丹形、亮丽红色、大~巨大(12〜15cm)、花期12〜2月、树性直立、浓密、长势强。突变种：Forty-Niner Variegated。花名：1849年，争相前往美国加利福尼亚州淘金的人；花名或许隐喻培育出这么美丽的茶花，就好像挖到黄金似的。Forty-Niner (掏金者)一高继银,2007,国内外茶花品种识别与欣赏，p.253.
