American Camellia Yearbook, 1966, p.89, Reg. No.867: This large, semi­double flower is a chance seedling that bloomed for the first time 1959 at 8 years of age. It is a deep red with golden anthers and yellow filaments. Its size is 12.5-13 cm across x 5.5 cm deep with 26 petals. Plant growth is upright and medium with dark green leaves, 10 cm long x 6 cm wide. Late flowering.
