[Variety Origin] Selected by Tea Research Institute of Fujian Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the natural hybrid progeny of 'Yuemingxiang' as a single plant. [Characteristics] Shrub type, early species, strong growth potential, half-open posture, medium leaf type, leaf length 8.0 cm, width 3.2 cm, leaf blade medium oval, leaf insertion state upward. In Fujian Fu'an area spring tea bud two leaves in full bloom generally in early April, the new buds and leaves purple-green, less velvet, a bud three leaves 5.2 cm long, 100 buds weighing 80.0 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 21.2%, amino acids 4.7%, caffeine 4.1%, water leachate 40.0%. Suitable for green tea, black tea and oolong tea.
