[Variety Source] Selected by Tea Research Institute of Fujian Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the natural hybrid progeny of 'Jinmudan' as a single plant. [Characteristics] Shrub type, mesophyll, strong growth potential, semi-open posture, leaflet type, leaf blade length 6.6 cm, width 3.6 cm, leaf blade medium oval, leaf blade insertion state upward. In Fujian Fu'an area spring tea bud two leaves in full bloom generally in mid to late April, the new buds and leaves purple-red, velvet hair medium, a bud three leaves 6.6 cm long, 100 buds weight 72.0 grams. Spring tea bud two leaves biochemical samples containing tea polyphenols 15.6%, amino acids 5.8%, caffeine 3.3%, water leachate 46.8%. Suitable for green tea and oolong tea. Green tea, green appearance, bright yellow-green soup color, with floral aroma, taste fresh and crisp; oolong tea, light orange-yellow soup color, bright, floral aroma, taste mellow with fresh, fragrant water. The first growth cycle spring mu yield of one bud three leaves 339 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Huangdan' 9% increase in yield; the second growth cycle spring mu yield of one bud three leaves 390 kg of fresh leaves, than the control 'Huangdan' 11% increase in yield.
