American Camellia Yearbook, 1980, p.177, Reg. No.1942: A large red and white semi-double C.japonica chance seedling of Lady in Red; originated by Ted Alfter, Bakersfield, California, USA. The 10 year old seedling first bloomed in 1978. Average flower size is 12.5 cm across x 7.5 cm deep with 16-18 petals.
