ACS Registration #3012. The Camellia Journal,71(3):30 with name and color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2016, p. 137 with color photo and description. This 14-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of ‘Snow Lady’ first bloomed in 2008. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The medium to large sized 10.1cm x 5.1cm semi-double to loose peony form flower is dark purple pink with some variegation in the center petals. It has yellow anthers and white filaments. The blooms have consistent form, are long lasting, have heavy petal texture and fall in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves have low serration and average 8.9cm x 5.1cm. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
