Harrison Hooks. (C.japonica). Registered in 2019. ACS Registration #3141. This 12-year-old C.japonica chance seedling of 'Edna Bass Variegated' first bloomed in2012. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo,Georgia. Bloom: Themedium sized 8.9 cm x 3.8 cm formal double form flower is red. This profusebloomer is long lasting with heavy petal texture, consistent form and falls inone piece. The blooms frequently have stacked petals. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. Thegrowth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.Leaf: The dark greenleaves average 7.6 cm x 2.8 cm with low serration. Bloom season: Early to midseason.
