japonica). Registered in 2019. ACS Registration #3141. This 12-year-old C.
japonica chance seedling of 'Edna Bass Variegated' first bloomed in
2012. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo,
Georgia. Bloom: The
medium sized 8.9 cm x 3.8 cm formal double form flower is red. This profuse
bloomer is long lasting with heavy petal texture, consistent form and falls in
one piece. The blooms frequently have stacked petals. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The
growth rate is slow. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses.
Leaf: The dark green
leaves average 7.6 cm x 2.8 cm with low serration. Bloom season: Early to midseason.
