NewZealand Camellia Bulletin, 1989, vol.XVI, No.1, p.26, Reg. No.251: Originated by Mrs Ida Berg, Whakatane, New Zealand. It is a reticulata seedling and first flowered 1987. Its habit is upright with mid-green foliage with medium growth rate. Leaves average 13 cm long x 5.6 cm wide. The peony form flowers average 12 cm across x 6 cm deep with 30 petals and yellow anthers. Colour is a glowing red and the flower has heavy texture and blooms mid­season to late.
