Johnson from Cairo, Georgia, USA. A 15 yearold chance Seedling of C. japonica 'Royal Velvet'. It was firstbloomed in 2018. Flower formal double, Medium to large, 10.2 cm in diameterand 4.4 cm in depth, Red outer petals shading to mauve shading back to red incenter. Leaf dark green, 7.6 cm long, and 3.8 cm wide. Plant upright,open growth Average growth rate. Blooming medium season to late.
