Latest Illustrated Book of Japanese Camellias, (Camellias of Japan), 2010, p.71 with colour photo; Small, peach pink single, tubular, almost cupped petals, central stamen column. Flowers mid-season to late. Leaves ovate. Upright growth. From a private garden in Higaguri Town, Kanazawa City, Japan. Found, named and released by Takashi Shiota around 1980.
