Nippon Tsubaki - Sasanqua Meikan, 1998, p.103 with colour photo; English translation p.70. Medium size, pink, tubular to trumpet shaped single with cylindrical stamen cluster. Flowers mid-season. Leaves narrowly elliptic, medium size, somewhat waved. Upright, vigorous growth. Selected from the wild japonica community in the precincts of Konpirs Shrine. Named and released by Saneichi Koyama in 1972. From Kagawa Prefecture.
