ACS, The Camellia Journal, Aug. 1999, p.14, Reg. No.2495. A medium to shell pink chance seedling with yellow anthers and creamy white filaments. Cold hardy. Originated by Arthur A. Maryott, Gaithersburg, Md., USA. American Camellia Yearbook, 1999, p.2, colour photo before p.1. Flowers mid-season to late. The 20 year old seedling first flowered 1988. Average flower size is 10-12.7 cm across x 4.5-5 cm deep, with 42 petals, 9 petaloids and intermingled stamens. Plant growth is upright with dark green leaves 9 cm long x 4.5 cm wide.
