ACS, Reg. No. 1347. American Camellia Yearbook, 1975, p 239: A 12 year-old chance japonica seedling that first bloomed in 1966-1965. Originated by Dr. Carlisle Adams, Charlotte, N. C. Plant growth is upright, dense and rapid in rate with variable to dark green leaves measuring 4 inches in length and 2 inches in width. The fonnal double, 'Alba Plena' type. bloom is creamy center to lavender pink outside with 60 to 70 plus petals. Average size untreated is 3½ inches in diameter and 1 ¾ inches in depth. Gibs well to Hower during entire season. OthelWise flowers late. Blooms late.
