Cam. Aust., Camellia News, No.197, Autumn 2015, p.14. A chance seedling, raised by Judy Lewis, Sandy Bay, Tasmania, Australia, from seed supplied by Edgar Sebire, Wandin North, in the mid-1970s. A bright pink informal double, 12-15cm diameter x 6.5-7cm high. 18 thick, heavy textured, wavy petals, interspersed with groups of cream stamen filaments. Flowers fall whole. Flowers mid to late season. Plant has upright growth. Leaves are oblong, about 10.5cm x 4.5cm, mid-green, matt surfaced, flat, keeled, acuminate, and finely serrate.
