» English Description
A chance seedling of seedling of C. chekiangoleosa, grown in Villa Motta Garden (Italy). Flowers simple, large (10 cm and more), slightly funnel-shaped, full red (Ferrari-red) with 6 petals. Stamens vertical, not fused, with deep-yellow anthers and light-yellow filaments. Leaves acuminate, slightly curved, deep green, 9-12 cm long and 4,5-5 cm wide. Habit upright and open. Average to fast growth. Early and profuse blooming (February in North Italy). It resembles other C.chekiangoleosa seedlings in the form and color of the flower and in the slightly curled surface of petals. Picked flowers last long time.
