Yokoyama & Kirino, 1989, Nihon no Chinka, p.395, colour photo and description: Small to medium size, light red, spiral-shaped, formal double with 5 spiral arms like a windmill shape, and pointed petals with a touch of white at the point. Blooms mid-season to late. Leaves mid-green, elliptic. Originated by Miura, Kunio in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture, Japan. Synonym ‘Hōkiguruma’.
