Moxian Chunguang （C. japonica）. Chinese Registration Number：CCRN2023005. It was orginated by You Mingfei, Jiang Jiansheng and Li Jiyuan from Jinhua Moxian Horticultural Engineering Co., Ltd. A chance seedling of 'Fire Dance'. Small shrub, young buds green, shoots gray. Leaves 8.5-11 cm long, 4.0-4.7 cm wide, elliptic, green, margins coarsely serrate, base cuneate. Flowers semi-double form, 6 cm in diameter, petals slightly concave at the apex, ovate, red, deeply lobed, stamens nearly equal height with style, ovary hairless, with a clear fragrance. Bloom season February to March.
