Moxian Hongzhu

Moxian Hongzhu （C. hybrid）. Chinese Registration Number：CCRN2023006. It was originated by You Mingfei, Jiang Jiansheng and Li Jiyuan from Jinhua Moxian Horticultural Engineering Co., Ltd. A hybrid of 'Mrs Bertha Harms' crossed the F1 hybrid (C. saluenensis × 'Apple Blossom') as female parent, and then crossed with unknown male parent. Plant small shrub, buds yellow-green, shoots gray-green. Leaves 9-10 cm long and 4.7-5.4 cm wide, elliptic, Leaf margins finely serrate, base cuneate. Flowers red, 8.7-9 cm in diameter, anemone to peony form with light fragrance, petal round with fine white spots, obovate, the stamens nearly equal to the styles, the ovary hairy. Bloom season February to March.

莫闲红珠 (Camellia 'Moxian Hongzhu'). 中国茶花登录号： CCRN2023006。由金华市莫闲园艺工程有限公司等的游鸣飞、姜建生和李纪元等培育。杂交品种，母本‘Mrs Bertha Harms’ × (怒江红山茶×苹果花‘Apple Blossom’)、父本不详。小灌木，嫩芽黄绿色，嫩枝灰绿色，叶片长9-10 厘米，宽4.7-5.4 厘米，椭圆形，叶面绿色，叶缘细锯齿，叶基楔形。花冠直径8.7-9 厘米，花型托桂重瓣型，花瓣顶端圆形，有细白斑，倒卵形，红色，雌雄蕊近等高，子房无茸毛，香味清淡，花期2-3月。
