P'tit Zef (C. hybrid). European Reg. No 128. A 10 year old seedling from F1 hybrid (C.yunnanensis x unknown) x an unknown male parent, first flowered 2010. Registered by the Société Bretonne du Camellia for the originator, Grall Raymond, Plougar, France. Named for the residents of the Ville de Brest. Plant has average growth rate. Leaves are dark green, 8cm x 4cm, with recurved margins. Flower is an open semi-double of 9-10 petals, 10-12cm diameter. Base colour is white, most petals also having rose colour veining or stripes. Very prominent columnar to tubular group of stamens, both anthers and filaments gold. Flowers early and for a long season. Flowers fall whole.
