Perle Rose

International Camellia Journal 2014, p.155 with colour photo;  European Reg. No. 101.   Raised and registered by Roger Salaȕn, "Stervinou", Guipronvel, France. No parentage given. First flowered 2007. Plant is upright, open and vigorous. Leaves are large, 14 cm x 6 cm, leathery, dark green and reticulated, long elliptical with acuminate tip. Flower is single, flute shaped, with 6-8 petals, bright pink, diameter 11-12 cm x 5-6 cm deep. Flowers are self-grooming and early flowering for a reticulata.
