International Camellia Journal, 2015, p.120; European Reg. No. 116.  Originated, registered and propagated by António Assunção, Rua Bela Vista no 156, Candoso St. Tiago, Guimarães, Portugal. First raised 7 years ago, it first flowered in 2013. Female parent C. reticulata ‘Damanao’, male parent unknown. Propagated by graft. Grown outdoors, the growth rate is medium and the growth style is bushy and dense. It flowers very early season with an average flowering period. The flowers are rose-form, pink, 180- 220mm, 20 to 23 petals, sprayed stamens, filaments white, anthers yellow. Buds oval. Leaves 135 x 65 mms, dark green, curled. The flower shatters on falling. This cultivar was dedicated to ICS President Patricia L. Short. The name was chosen by herself.
