Medici Spada, 1858, Delle nuova Camellie che si vengono ottenendo dalle Semine Romane, p.7: Flower completely imbricated, 11 tiers of petals; those of the circumference amply rounded including the interior; the middle and central are acuminate, folded and shell-like; background bright flesh coloured with reflections and reticulation of light carmine, with the margins of the central and middle petals distorted and pale rose colour. Originated in Italy by Delgrande, Rome.
