ACS, The Camellia Journal, 2005, p.28 and colour photo p.29, Reg. No. 2657. A chance seedling that first flowered in 1996. Originated and propagated by Jay Ellis Jr, Keystone Heights, Fla., USA. The 6.5 cm diameter flower has a full anemone centre, and combines dark pink to medium red with white variegation. Some interspersed yellow anthers. Plant growth is upright, dense and vigorous and flowers profusely early to mid-season. American Camellia Yearbook, 2005, p.47 and colour photo p.c8. Dark green leaves are 6.5 cm x 3.2 cm.
