This 12-year-old C. hybrid chance seedling first bloomed in 2005. It was originated and registered by Jill Read of Lucedale, Mississippi, USA and propagated by Glenn Read Camellia Nursery of Lucedale, Mississippi, USA. Bloom: The large sized 11.4cm x 5.1cm loose peony to semi-double form flower is orchid pink with a blush pink center. This fragrant long lasting profuse bloomer has heavy petal texture with consistent form and florescence. The blooms are very fragrant with upright petals and have a wide orchid band that shades to blush pink at the center. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves have low serration and average 6.3cm x 3.8cm. Bloom season: Early to midseason.
