[Variety Source] Selected by the Tea Research Institute of Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences and others from a single plant selection from a local group of species in Qianshan City. [Characteristics] Shrub type, mesophyll, semi-open posture. The leaf blade is oblique, medium leaf, leaf length 11.0 cm, leaf width 4.8 cm, leaf shape oval, leaf color light green, leaf surface slightly elevated, leaf body flat, leaf texture medium, leaf teeth sharp, depth medium, leaf teeth dense, leaf base obtuse shape, leaf tip acuminate, leaf margin flat. The buds and leaves are strong in tenderness, the color of the buds and leaves is yellowish green, the velvet is medium, the weight of one bud and three leaves is 58.3 grams. The biochemical sample of one bud and two leaves in spring contains 19.2% of tea polyphenol, 3.2% of amino acid, 3.8% of caffeine and 47.3% of water leachate. Suitable for green tea and black tea.
