Xueshan

Xueshan (C. japonica) Liu Xinkai et al. 2023, Illustrations of the New Camellia Hybrids that Bloom Year-round, Zhejiang Science and Technology Publishing House, p.527. HD-13-2.A chance seedling YGW-No.22 selected from C. japonica cultivar 'Moonlight Bay'. Flowers pure white, semi-double form, medium to large size, 9.5-12.0cm across and 4.5cm deep with 23-25 large petals arranged in 3-5 rows, petals turned outward, stamens clustered. Leaves green, shiny, leathery, elliptic，margins densely serrate. Plant upright, branches dense and growth normal. Blooms from late-winter to the spring of following year. The cultivar name means “Snow Mountain”.

雪山 Camellia japonica ‘Xueshan’ 。刘信凯、钟乃盛、柯欢、武艳芳主编，2023，《第二部四季茶花杂交新品种彩色图集》，浙江科学技术出版社，第527页。 HD-13-2.第一部书中本组曾介绍过1个品种（见第一部书第534-535页），其编号接续第一部书。本品种选自红山茶品种‘月光湾’的机遇苗YGW-No.22。花朵洁白色，半重瓣型，中型至大型花，花径9.5-12.0cm，花朵厚4.5cm，大花瓣23-25枚，呈3-5轮排列，外翻，雄蕊簇生。叶片绿色，光亮，革质，椭圆形，边缘齿密。植株立性，枝条稠密，生长中等。冬末至翌年春季开花。
