Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1980, Senchinshū, p.152, colour photo. p.252, description: A white with rare marks of pink, 6-7 rows of petals, irregularly imbricated. Petals emarginate, opening vase-shaped. Leaves dull, mid-green, lanceolate apex acuminate, base cuneate, conspicuous venation. Originated in Kansai, Japan. Although the name translates as ‘Double Wabisuke’ it is a C.japonica (Yabu Tsubaki).
