Youza No.2

‘Youza 2’ is a new variety authorized by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration of China in 2021, with the variety right number: 20210536, originated by Yuan Deyi and Xiao Shixin of Central South University of Forestry and Technology. A interspecific hybrid between Camellia yuhsienensis and C. oleifera. Plant 1.3~1.5m tall. Leaves flat, oval, apex acuminate or acute, dark green, shiny, margin densely serrated, 7.96 cm long and 4.54 cm wide. Flowers solitary, bisexual, white, diameter 6-7 cm, and the number of petals 5-7. Flowering period is from late February to mid-March. It has a fresh fragrance when blooming. The capsule has a hemp brown skin, with an average fruit weight of 16.71 g, a fruit diameter of 2.9 cm, a fruit height of 2.6 cm, and a skin thickness of 1.53 mm. The fresh seed rate is 64.73%, the kernel oil content is 45.71%, and the fruit ripening period is early to mid-November.

攸杂2Camellia 'Youza No.2'是2021年国家林草局授权的新品种，【品种权号】20210536，【培育人】袁德义、肖诗鑫，【品种权人】中南林业科技大学。【品种特性】树高1.3~1.5m，株形矮壮，树冠圆头型，叶片平展，椭圆形，端渐尖或长尾尖，叶面墨绿，具光泽，叶缘密生细锯齿，叶长7.96 cm，叶宽4.54 cm；花单生，两性花，白色，花径6~7 cm，花瓣数为5~7枚，花期2月下旬~3月中旬，开花时具有清新香味。蒴果，果皮麻褐色，平均果重16.71 g，果径2.9cm，果高2.6 cm，果皮厚1.53 mm。鲜出籽率64.73%，种仁含油率45.71%，果熟期11月上中旬。其特异性主要表现为树形矮壮，叶片墨绿，具光泽，果序簇状，结果多，果较大，皮薄，出籽率高，油脂品质好。抗炭疽病和软腐病好。
