[Characteristics] Tree-type, large-leaved, early-born species. The tree posture is open, the growth potential is strong, the branching part is high, and the branching is sparse. The leaf blade is upwardly inserted, moderately elliptic, 16.0 centimeters long, 6.3 centimeters wide, yellowish-green in color, with a sharp apex. In the Menghai area, the exploitation period is generally in the middle of February, and the full bloom period of one bud and two leaves is generally in the middle of February; the germination density is medium, with a lot of velvet; the length of one bud and three leaves is 9.3 centimeters, and the weight of one hundred buds is 147.7 grams. The full bloom period is from early September to mid-September every year, the size of the corolla is 5.2 cm x 5.0 cm, the length of the pedicel is 1.1 cm, the calyx is 5, green and velvet; the petals are 6-8, white in color, medium in texture and velvet; the length of the style is 1.4 cm, the stigma is 3-lobed and shallowly lobed, and the relative heights of the pistil and the stamen are of equal heights.
