Ailao Jinxin

Ailao Jinxin (C. reticulata). China Regn. #2019-266. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2019, No.8, p.58. Originated and registered by Lan Chengxin of Jingdong County, Yunnan Province. A chance seedling of 'Ailaohong', sown in 2009 and bloomed for the first time in early 2016. Flowers dark red, semi-double to loose peony form, diameter 11-12 cm, petals 18-26 in 3-4 whorls, round in shape with concave apex, semi-double form with many stamens in tube-shaped; loose peony form with stamens in bundles between tortuous petals; pistils not developed well. Leaves oblong to elliptic, 10-13.5 cm long, 4.5-5.5 cm wide, apex long acuminate, base cuneate. The flowering period is from December to February.

哀牢金心Camellia reticulata ‘Ailao Jinxin’. 中国茶花登录号：2019-266。《中国花卉园艺》2019年第8期58页。由云南省景东县大街乡昆岗村兰成新培育并登录。从云南山茶品种‘哀牢红’种子实生苗中选育，2009年播种，2016年初花。花黑红色，半重瓣至松散牡丹型，花径11～12厘米，花瓣数18～26枚，3～4轮着生，瓣片圆形，先端凹缺，半重瓣型花雄蕊多数，筒状于花心；松散牡丹型花雄蕊分束夹生于曲折花瓣间，雌蕊畸形退化，不结实。叶长椭圆形至椭圆形，长10～13.5厘米，宽4.5～5.5厘米，先端长渐尖，基部楔形。花期12月～2月。
