Ariana Hall Supreme (C. japonica) ACS, Reg. No.2385. American Camellia Yearbook, 1996, p1. with color photo in color inset 1. A large, cream white fading to pink edges, semidouble C. japonica chance seedling, mid-season to late. Originated by Houghton S. Hall, San Anselmo, CA and propagated by Hulyn Smith, Valdosta, GA and Roscoe Dean, Lucedale, MS. The 19-year-old seedling first bloomed in 1981. Average size flower is 4 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep with 13 petals, 10 petaloid, yellow anthers and white filaments. The sweet pea coloring of this flower is dusted with this flower is dusted with tiny of dark pink. Plant growth is average and medium with dark green leaves measuring 3 1/2" long and 2 1/2" wide.
