ACRS, 1968, Camellia News, No.32, p.18, Reg. No.103: A chance seedling found growing under a plant of ‘Magnoliiflora’, (Hagoromo) in the garden of J.A. Richards, Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia. Taken to Canberra in 1962, it first flowered 1967. It produces red, semi-double flowers 10 cm across and is late flowering. Growth, upright and spreading.
