This 10-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2009. It was originated and propagated by C.M. and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida, USA and registered by Jim Smelley of Moss Point, Mississippi, USA. Bloom: The medium sized 7.6cm x 2.5cm (treated 8.2cm x 2.5cm) anemone form flower is burgundy. The blooms are long lasting with consistent form and fall in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 10.1cm x 3.8cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
