Chaoji Ruyi

Chaoji Ruyi (C. japonica). China Regn. #2022-351. China Flowers & Horticulture, 2022, No.4, p.47. It was bred and registered by Zong Kanghua of Jinhua Guanglin Seedling Co., Ltd. A sport of ‘Ruyi’, first observed in 2016. The flowers are thick red, with a large number of white spots, sometimes most of the petals are white, completely double-petaled, medium-sized flowers, flower diameter 8.0~10.0 cm, about 80 petals, arranged in a row of more than 7 wheels covered tiles, and the petals are buttoned inside. The leaves are dark green, 9.0 cm long and 4.0 cm wide, with a few macular spots on the leaf surface, leathery, oval, and pronounced teeth. The plant is compact, densely foliage, and vigorously grows. Flowering takes place from January to April.

超级如意 (Camellia japonica ‘Chaoji Ruyi’). 中国茶花注册号：2022-352.《中国花卉园艺》2022年第4期第48页。本品种系金华市广霖苗木有限公司的宗康华培育并登录。本品种系花朵纯红色的红山茶品种‘如意’之突变，2016年首次观测到突变花朵，后经嫁接对突变枝条进行分离，通过多年的观测，证实此突变性状已经稳定。花朵浓红色，具大量白斑，有时花瓣大部分均呈白色，完全重瓣型，中型花，花径8.0～10.0 cm，花瓣80约枚，呈7以上轮覆瓦状排列，花瓣内扣。叶片深绿色，叶长9.0 cm，宽4.0 cm，叶面偶现少量黄斑，革质，椭圆形，叶齿明显。植株紧凑，枝叶稠密，生长旺盛。花期1月至翌年4月。
