ElsieMary.(C.reticulata hybrid). NZCS Camellia Bulletin, No.169, July 2010,p.12 with colour photo; Regn No.488. Chance seedling, first flowered in 2007.Plant is upright with medium growth rate. Dark green leaves are large and verybroad, 16 cm x 10 cm. Flower is a very large semi-double, 16 cm diameter x 10cm deep, with about 16 petals and no petaloids. Diameter sometimes reaches 20cm. Colour is rose pink (RHSCC 53D) Numerous stamens, filaments white with apink base, and anthers yellow. Flowers early to midseason. Originated by NeilW.J. Ingram, New Plymouth, NZ.
