ACS Registration #3015. The Camellia Journal,71(3):30 with name and color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2016, p. 139 with color photo and description. This 15-year-old C. reticulata chance seedling of ‘Valley Knudsen’ first bloomed in 2008. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The large sized 12.7cm x 6.3cm semi-double form flower is pink with dark pink stripes and flecks. It has yellow anthers and cream filaments. The blooms are long lasting and fall in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration average 8.9cm - 10.1cm x 3.8cm - 5.1cm. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
