Pat Bellamy  (C. japonica)   ACS Registration #3121. Registered in 2019. This 10-year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Tar Baby' first bloomed in 2013. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia.  BLOOM: The very large sized 12.7 cm x 6.4 cm single form flower is dark pink with lavender tones on the edges. It has yellow anthers and pink filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with Fluorescence, heavy petal texture, consistent form and falls in one piece. PLANT: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. LEAF: The dark green leaves average 7.6 cm x 3.8 cm with low serration. BLOOM SEASON: Early to Midseason.
