Forrest's Royal Pearl (C. japonica) American Camellia Yearbook, 2023, p.85. Registered in 2023. ACS Registration #3338. It was originated and registered by Pat B. Johnson from Cairo, Georgia, USA. A 14-year-old seedling of C. japoinica 'Beatrix Hoyt'.It was first bloomed in 2017. Flower semidouble, blush pink with dark pink freckles and flecks with yellow anthers and creamy white filaments, large size, 11.4 cm in diameter. Leaf medium green, 7.6cm long and 1.3 cm wide. Plant vigorous growth rate, upright, open growth. Bloom mid-season to late.
